The questions that come up most, about the workshop side and the software side.
Custom CAD design, 3D printing, CNC machining, and software development - web apps, mobile apps, and bespoke tools or automation. See the home page for the full breakdown.

No. A sketch, a photo of a broken part, a rough set of measurements, or just a paragraph describing the idea is enough to start. Modelling it properly in CAD is part of the job, not a prerequisite for asking.
For 3D printing: PLA, PETG, ABS and resin, chosen for the part rather than whatever's on the spool. For CNC: aluminium, plastics, timber and composites. If a job needs something else, ask - there's usually a way to make it work.
Both. One-off prototypes and repairs are just as welcome as small production runs - a lot of the work is exactly that kind of odd, one-off job nobody else wants to quote for.
Four steps: tell us the idea, we scope it and give you a straight answer on cost and approach, we build it (printed, milled, coded, or a mix), then it gets tested and refined before anything is finalised or produced in quantity.
It depends entirely on the job - a simple print can be quick, while CAD design, CNC work or software builds take longer. A realistic time estimate is given during scoping, before you commit to anything.
Yes. CAD models and drawings produced for a commissioned project are yours to keep.
Send it anyway. Part of the scoping stage is an honest opinion on whether it's worth making as described, and what a more sensible version might look like if not.
Yes - both are free, with no ads and no tracking. The Darts Tracker handles 501, 301 and custom games with averages and checkouts. The Circuit Diagram Maker turns a plain-English description into a diagram, powered by Google's Gemini API.
No. An account is entirely optional and only exists so the online darts mode can match you with friends and remember your stats. Nothing on the CAD, printing, CNC or contact side needs one.
