RKing Industries is an engineering workshop that works in metal, plastic and source code. We model parts in CAD, print them, cut them on the CNC, write the software that drives them, and build the awkward one-off things nobody else wants to quote for.
01What We Do
CAD & 3D Modelling
Parametric models built from a sketch, a photo, a set of measurements, or a rough idea shouted across the room. Proper drawings, tolerances that mean something, and files you actually own at the end.
3D Printing
FDM and resin work for prototypes, jigs, housings, replacement parts and short production runs. Sensible material choices for the job rather than whatever happened to be on the spool.
CNC Machining
Milling and routing where a printed part won't cut it - real stiffness, real surface finish, real tolerances. Aluminium, plastics, timber and composites, from one-offs to batches.
Web & App Development
Sites, web apps and mobile apps built from scratch - not dragged out of a page builder. Clean front ends, sane back ends, and hosting that doesn't fall over the first time someone actually uses it. This site is our own work.
Custom Tools & Automation
The internal software nobody sells off the shelf: calculators, dashboards, scripts that kill a repetitive job, hardware control and data logging. If you're doing something by hand every week, it can probably be a button instead.
Prototyping & Odd Jobs
The madness half of the slogan. Custom rigs, enclosures, mounts, brackets, repairs for parts that are long out of production, and the occasional project that exists purely because it shouldn't.
02How It Works
No portals, no forms with twenty required fields. Send us the idea and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth making.
Tell us the idea
A sketch, a photo, a broken part, or a paragraph of description is enough to start.
We scope it
A CAD model or a spec, plus a straight answer on cost, materials and approach.
Make or build
Printed, milled, coded, or all three - whichever actually suits the job.
Test and iterate
Prototype or beta first, then refine before committing to a batch or a launch.
03Minecraft Server Hosting
We host Minecraft servers too, on the same hardware that runs this site. Every account gets one free server, and Java and Bedrock players join on the same address.
04Free Tools
A couple of things we wrote for ourselves and left online - a fair sample of the software side. Free, no ads, no tracking.
05Accounts
An account is optional. You need one to run a Minecraft server, keep your NoteBoard sheets, or play online darts with friends and keep your stats. Nothing on the engineering side needs one.
