Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every account gets one Free server with 1 GB of RAM and 5 GB of storage. A Free server runs for up to 8 hours at a time and goes to sleep sooner if nobody is online. It then stays off until you press Start in the panel, so it never runs when nobody is using it.
Can Bedrock players join?
Yes, on Paper and Spigot servers. Geyser is set up automatically, so Bedrock players on phones, consoles and Windows join with the same address plus the Bedrock port shown in your panel.
How do I add plugins or mods?
Open the Plugins or Mods tab in your panel, search, and press Install. Required dependencies are added for you, and Update all keeps everything current. You can also upload your own .jar files.
Can I run a modpack?
Yes. Pick Modpack from Modrinth as the software when you create a server (or later from the panel), search for the pack, and the mod loader and every mod are installed for you. Moving to a newer version of the pack keeps your world. Most modpacks want 4 GB of RAM or more, so Better or Great suits them best.
How do I update to a new Minecraft version?
Press Change version in your panel and pick one. Your world is backed up first, then the server restarts on the new version.
Are my worlds backed up?
Only if you want them to be. Turn on daily backups in the panel's Backups tab, or press Back up now any time. Free keeps 1 backup and the biggest plan keeps 10; restoring one brings back your world, plugins and settings in one click.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on paid plans. Add an A record pointing at our proxy and enter the domain when you create the server.
Do paid plans renew? Can I cancel?
Paid plans renew automatically every month or year. Cancel any time from your account page: you won't be charged again, the server keeps running until the end of what you've paid for, and then its files are kept for 14 days so you can come back or download them.
