How to make yourself admin and set up a whitelist
Give yourself operator rights, keep strangers out with a whitelist, and change server settings.
These all use the Console tab in your panel, which runs commands on the server while it's online.
Make yourself admin
Type op YourName and press Send. Use deop YourName to undo it.
Only let friends in
- Type
whitelist on. - Add each player with
whitelist add TheirName. - See who's on the list with
whitelist list.
Change settings
Open the Files tab, click server.properties, edit it (for example difficulty,
gamemode, max-players or motd), press Save, then Restart.
